In this process, almost everyone makes one mistake, repeatedly.

Change isn’t easy. Starting small is the secret to making new changes and developing new habits.

Also, everyone underestimates the power of tiny habits.

Doing tiny habits consistently for a while can make huge differences in your life.

And luckily, forming smaller habits is easier than developing difficult ones.

The best way to inculcate a new tiny habit into your life is by taking up 30-day challenges.

 1. Make your bed

Making your bed every day in the morning helps in many ways.

It helps you to get started with the day. It just makes your room look cleaner.

Making your bed after you wake up will reduce your temptation to go back to sleep.

 2. Soak in sunlight

Did you know soaking in sunlight helps to improve your mood?

Soaking in sunlight releases a hormone called serotonin. This hormone helps in boosting your mood.

It also helps in increasing Vitamin D levels in the body.

Basking in sunlight, especially in the morning, will help you to be awake.

 3. Meditate for 5 minutes

It is becoming increasingly difficult to disconnect from this noisy world. Sometimes 5 minutes of silence are all we want. But we rarely get it.

Take it up as a challenge to gift yourself with 5 minutes of absolute silence for the next 30 days.

4. Read for 5 minutes

What can you read in 5 minutes? A few pages of a book ( fiction or non-fiction), quick morning newsletters to keep you updated with current affairs.

Or subscribe to any newsletters that feed your curiosity.

Reading for 5 minutes a day helps to improve your focus and concentration, and reduce stress levels.

It is also a great way to improve your vocabulary and increase your knowledge.

All you have to do is journal one sentence every day. Nothing less or nothing more.

6. Drink 8 glasses of water

Drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day has many health benefits.

If you don’t drink enough water every day, take a conscious decision to do so.

 7. Declutter your workspace

Take out time every day to clear out unnecessary papers and other things from your desk. Also, organize and arrange the things so that it is easily accessible for you.

 8. Declutter your digital files

Decluttering your digital files will improve your productivity and reduce your stress.

Most of us ignore organizing our digital files because we are unaware of the benefits of doing so. Try it out by yourself and see the difference.

A daily highlight is one thing that you want to do in a day. Even if you couldn’t do all the other things on your to-do list, you make sure that this particular item gets done. 

Making sure to do one important thing every day makes a hell lot of a difference.

 12. Set intention for the day

Setting an intention for the day will help you to spend the day more mindfully and take actions that will align with achieving your goals.

 13. Say affirmations

Saying positive words of affirmation repeatedly every day will help you to overcome fear and self-doubt. It is also a way of practicing self-love

 15. Stretch for 15 minutes

Add a quick 15 minutes stretching to your routine for a healthier you.

 16. Do deep breathing

Deep breathing is a simple breathing exercise that can help you to relax and sleep better.

 16. Sleep and wake up at the same time

Fix the time to go to bed and for waking up. Stick to that time for the next 30 days.

 17. Learn a new word everyday

It will help you to improve your vocabulary. Having good language proficiency is gonna be beneficial for you in the long run.
