The phase where you are no longer who you used to be but haven’t yet reached where you want to be is tricky. You battle self-doubt, fear, and confusion.

Am I on the right path? Why am I not seeing results?

So many questions pop into your mind.

Change is never easy. Whether you are developing a new habit or working toward your goals, it can feel unsettling.

You are doing something different—breaking out of your comfort zone. And that is both exciting and scary.

It’s natural to wonder if you’re heading in the right direction.

Here are 10 signs that you are on the right path, even if you don’t feel like it or aren’t seeing any results yet.

10 Signs You Are on the Right Path—Even If Doubt and Fear Say Otherwise

1. You are feeling uncomfortable for a reason

You are getting out of your comfort zone. Exploring uncharted territories.

This has lead to the arrival of an uninvited guest in your life: discomfort. And it is making its presence known, strongly.

If you are feeling uncomfortable, it is a sign of growth. Because to reach from where you are now to where you want to be, requires you to leave the known behind.

Discomfort is the sign to keep going, that you are on the right path. Growth never happens where you are comfortable and familiar.

So, keep going.

 2. Your inner voice is louder than your doubts

Nothing is making sense. You are not even sure of the next step to be taken.

Still, your inner voice is telling you that you are on the right path. Loud, clear and confident.

The voices of fear and doubt are trying to make its case and steal your attention. Your inner voice is so deafening, like a horn blaring in your ears, that you can barely register the voices of fear and doubt.

This unexplainable strong voice is a proof that you are on the right path.

 3. You feel more yourself than ever before

You are making choice that matters to you. Based on what you want to achieve, where you want to reach.

And you are feeling more like yourself.

You are not going down a path because of societal pressure or other reasons. You chose this journey because you wanted it.

That is liberating. Even if nobody understands or looks like you are doing something utterly foolish.

Living a life based on your principles and values, by trying to achieve what truly means to you, you will find yourself.

You will establish a stronger and deeper connection with yourself. And, that is gonna make a hell of difference.

A stronger bond is being formed with yourself.

Cherish it!

4. You’re feeling lost but still motivated

You are feeling lost.

A guide which explains the actions to be taken would have made it easier, isn’t it?

But that’s not it works.

You take step by step. Sometimes, it might lead you to your goals. Sometimes not.

There is uncertainty. But your motivation is on fire.

You so want to achieve your goals, that you are ready to navigate through this.

Fear, doubt, confusion might catch up to you. They won’t last. They don’t stand a chance.

Before you know it, your inner voice and motivation is back, helping you to move forward.

Lost but motivated – you are on!

5. You are outgrowing people

You will outgrow some people. Some will stay with you through this journey. Cheering and rooting for you, becomes your moral support.

You will develop new relationships with people who are aligned with your new, current self.

When you are walking towards achieving your goals and dreams, not everyone will accompany you. Because everyone is not going to the same direction. Some people will not even understand why you chose this journey, in the first place.

And that’s ok.

There will be pain when you let go of people. But nothing is worse than the pain of staying where you don’t want to be and being untrue to yourself.

Let go so you can soar high.

6. You’re making small progresses

Progress is being made. It is small that only you can see it.

When someone is looking from outside, it might feel like you are where you were yesterday.

But if you took one step towards your goal, that is progress. Hell, if you slithered, that counts as progress too.

The battle of self doubt that you won. Nobody saw it. Nobody knew it.

That is progress.

Your progress might feel messy, non-linear and imperfect.

You are not afraid of it.

You are making decisions that your past self wouldn’t have made. You are no longer playing it safe.

Its impossible to achieve growth without failure. You have realized this and started making better, bolder choice.

You are no longer tied to the shackles of fear of failure.

 8. You are experiencing mixed bag of feelings

Excited. Scared. Confused. Uncomfortable. Proud. Happy.

You’re feeling everything at once—like a whirlwind of emotions colliding inside you.

And yet, despite the chaos, you’re not stuck. You’re learning to sit with these feelings, make sense of them, and keep moving forward. That alone is proof of growth.

 9. You’re experiencing more “coincidences” or “opportunities”

Have you noticed that suddenly, out of nowhere, opportunities are finding its way to you?

You might be meeting the right people or getting access to the right resources.

Once you start living a life aligned to your values and in direction of your goals, you will start to notice things. You desire will be like a strong magnet, attracting all the right things to make this journey a success.

Sometimes, you will start noticing things which were already present that will help you. Because when you are taking action towards growth, you become more open and aware. Will start seeing things that was invisible to your eyes before.

Embrace these resources, people and opportunities. These are what that’s going to bring success to you.

 10. Your old habits feel less appealing

Bing watching. Gaming. Mindless scrolling.

Things that you used to escape from reality, doesn’t excite you anymore.

Because you have experienced the real happiness and satisfaction. The one that you experience when your actions align with your inner thoughts and what you want to achieve.

You no longer have to force yourself to take actions towards your goals. You naturally gravitate towards working on it.

You are actively steering away from instant gratification. Your old habits becomes less appealing day after day.
